Lysá hora (German Kahleberg) is the peak situated in the Bohemian ridge, in Giant Mountains. The height of the mountain is 1344 m Rokytnice head to the top of the chairlift up to the height of 1310 m, where its upper station is located. The cable car is only available in winter. With very good visibility, Lysá Hora and the ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains can also be seen from Prague from 120 km.
Lysá hora is roughly 4 km northeast of the winter resort Rokytnice. It is a cumulus mountain with a flat peak lying to the west between the peak of Plešivec and the mountain Kotel on the eastern side. The vertex, on which the geodetic point is attached, is covered with a cow-tree vegetation with occasional pits, where the grass-field lawns with a rare flora extend. Lower spruce forests grow in lower positions.
Due to the fact that there is no marked tourist route on the top of the mountain and is located in the first zone of KRNAP, access is prohibited. Below the top you can get in the winter by cableway, from which the top station is 200 meters east. It also leads to the east of the top station of the cable car, a winter cross country trail equipped with bar marking.
