The cableway to Lysá hora, which was built in 1996, is unique in that it is the only one in the Czech Republic to lead to the KRNAP zone I. Its final station is the starting point for the cross-country ski run Gianthighway. In summer, this funicular does not travel.
Ski Resort Horní Domky is one of the largest and most popular ski resorts in the Czech Republic. It is dominated by Lysá hora, on which there is a four-seat chairlift to 1 315 m (starting point for cross-country skiing Gianthighway). The cableway to Lysa hora is not available in summer (the upper station is located in the protected area of KRNAP).
Lysá hora cable car measures 2 198 ma is the second longest in the Czech Republic. The second chairlift Horní Domky provides winter and summer operation with the possibility of transporting bicycles free of charge. Cross-country skiers are advised to try cross-country trails in the U kapličky and Pod Dvoračkami areas with a quality white trail.
